Chubb Global Markets (CGM) is the London Market wholesale and specialty arm of Chubb, providing global access to specialist underwriters in various areas.
Chubb are also listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: CB) and is component of the S&P 500 index and has more than $167 billion in assets and $36 billion of gross premiums written in 2017.
Chubb’s core operating insurance companies maintain financial strength ratings of AA from Standard & Poor’s and A++ from A.M. Best.
The area this web application would help Chubb in was financial revenue.
The Chubb team wanted to create a web responsive dashboard application that helped the company as a whole make proactive data driven decisions. However, much of the reports in circulation were in presentation format, making any decision making reactive.
Using Qlik Sense as the underlying engine that drove the data content, I was tasked with using the Chubb style guidelines as a base to create a solution that create user delight amongst the business
During the discovery phase, I ran stakeholder and user workshops, conducted additional user interviews, whilst working within the Requirements & Constraints of the project.
Solid Ux findings and actionable recommendations were detailed in a compiled UX Design document that contained Personas, User theming and User needs.
I was able to base the UX User workshop output namely Goals & Frustrations and additional needs of the users generated by their User story and Archetype mapping. This is what influenced the design and data content.
Wireframes were created, which were brought to interactive life in a Prototype using Adobe Adobe XD in mobile, tablet and desktop views.
A interactive face to face workshop, running active tasked based activities with real users resulting in persona creation, revealing the actual needs and motivations of the users.
Applying best practice principles, using the UX process successfully utilise the information from the personas and implement that into wireframes, additional advisory UX best practice and the foundations of a design authority.
Using Adobe XD to create the designs in mobile, tablet and desktop views.
