Aviva investment intelligence spans major markets, where we currently invest £289bn (as at 31 December 2015). To help them in their continued growth, they use the Qlik data analytics platform as the underlying engine that drive much of their data driven decisions in some of their business areas.
The Aviva team had digital reports that required converting to an interactive medium. The challenge they had internally was changing their decision making into something that was more data driven.
The UX Design work focused around a Financial Dashboard for management teams and data analysts. The dashboard was required to have an embrace the Aviva brand and intuitive design.
I ran two UX Design Stakeholder workshops, constructed wireframes, after understanding the Requirements & Constraints of the project.
A Design review, was performed early on into the UI Design phase to ensure that the direction taken was correct.
To help the Aviva team understanding "how" a user would interact with the web application a Prototype was created using Adobe XD.
A interactive face to face workshop, running active tasked based activities with real users resulting in persona creation, revealing the actual needs and motivations of the users.
Applying best practice principles, using the UX process successfully utilise the information from the personas and implement that into wireframes, additional advisory UX best practice and the foundations of a design authority.
Using Adobe XD to create the designs in a fully interactive mobile view.
